"It all started with a Facebook friend request".
After pondering for a few days, Luluu's curiosity got the best of her, and so she accepted Ritchie's friend request. Things were going smooth for Ritchie, as the messages kept coming back and forth between them. However, a few months later, they stopped as suddenly as it started.
"He had unresolved issues with past relationships and so we felt it was better to stay as friends. We both moved on with our lives and did not keep in touch."
Little did they know, their paths would cross again and they picked up talking as if they had never stopped! Letting go of their past baggage, they progressed quickly and so in a few months, Ritchie asked Luluu to be his girlfriend! Bow chicka wow wow!
Flash forward 1 year later, he proposed!
Time jump half a year more, they both said "I do!"
I am so thankful and honored that they asked me to be a part of their big day. I drove out to Fort Smith, Arkansas to get their getting ready photos and bridal party photos. We started at the hotel and moved to the Fort Smith National Historic Site. It was a hot day and the sun was straight beaming down on us, but they were all troopers and we pulled through!
The wedding itself was at the Lao Buddhist Association Activity Center. It was a full house. There were lots of family & friends, lots of good Hmong food, and lots of dancing courtesy of a live singer/performer. The rest of the night, everyone: ate, drank, and danced. They were still drinking and dancing by the time I left haha.

"Our love story may be just like any other love story, but our story made me believe in that quote. We were meant to be, but the first time just wasn't the right time. Timing is key, because what is meant to be, will never have to be forced. It will happen when the time is right." - Luluu
