Luluu + Ritchie

"It all started with a Facebook friend request".

It took a few days, but Luluu finally accepted Ritchie's friend request. Things were going smooth for Ritchie, as the messages kept coming back and forth between them. However, a few months later, they stopped as suddenly as it started.

"He had unresolved issues he needed to work on and so we felt it was better to stay as friends. We both moved on with our lives and didn't really keep in touch."

Little did they know, their paths would cross again and they picked up right where they left off! Not missing his chance again, he asked her to be his girlfriend within a few short months.

Flash forward 1 year later, he proposed!

Time jump 6mos later, they both said "I do".

I am thankful and honored that they asked me to be a part of their big day. I drove out to Fort Smith, Arkansas to get their getting ready photos and bridal party photos at the Fort Smith National Historic Site.

The wedding itself was at the Lao Buddhist Association Activity Center. It was a full house. There were lots of family & friends, lots of good Hmong food, and lots of dancing courtesy of a live singer/performer. The rest of the night, everyone: ate, drank, and danced!

"If it's meant to be, it will be."

"Our love story may be just like any other love story, but our story made me believe in that quote. We were meant to be, but the first time just wasn't the right time. Timing is key, because what is meant to be, will never have to be forced. It will happen when the time is right." - Luluu
